Notes / Comments:	This is an optional extra following the successful completion of the Diploma of Golf Management. All 4 techniques and skills courses are compulsory for those seeking entry into the Australian PGA Training Program. To be eligible for miscellaneous studies clients are required to be enrolled on a full time basis with Griffith University.

Intermediate Golf Management Practices (Distance Learning - Domestic students only)

Certificate IV in Sport and Recreation - SRSO40106
Duration: Up to 2 year via distance learning in conjunction with a participating secondary high school .

This program can be undertaken with or without the practical golf components. The program suits those who only require certificate level qualifications, or those who would like to articulate into higher programs if their education levels do not meet entry levels. Those with a keen passion for golf also suit this program, allowing them to follow a career in golf administration. This program is highly suitable for those seeking to study a vocational qualification through high school. PGA IGI Tailored Short Courses

The PGA IGI is able to tailor a package to suit an individual, organization or tour group. Content from any of our programs can be delivered in conjunction with practical golf coaching resulting in a statement of attainment for the participant. This option is best suited for golf related business’s who require staff training and development based on content which is designed, written and approved by PGA Members and Industry leading individuals.

Tailored options can be adapted to suit the specifics of the business making this option highly suited to staff and managers of such areas as; Golf Club Management, Golf Operations, Food & Beverage, Retail & Merchandising, Marketing & Sales and on road company representatives.

Distance Learning

The PGA IGI offers a distance learning option for selected programs. Distance learning will be available to those applicants who meet the entry requirements. The following program are now available via distance education. Our Distance Education option is not available to on-shore International students

Golf and English Program

The PGA IGI in conjunction with Gold Coast language Schools have teamed up to deliver English study and practical golf. The course is tailored to meet the requirements of international clients looking to improve their English skills and golfing abilities at the same time. Gold Coast Language School is a premier language school, with newly designed facilities to cater for international students of all nationalities.

Students will engage in English studies which are tailored to meet their golfing knowledge needs, for example “Addressing the media during a professional event”. Practical golf tuition and competition rounds will be delivered using PGA Professionals out of the Emerald Lakes Golf Club, where clients will enjoy intensive weekly golf coaching, skills sessions and competition rounds.
